Hello, everyone, and thank you for joining us today. I am really excited about this session. I am Evan Tackett, the solution marketer looking after Secure Host Access and, all of our terminal emulators here at Rocket. And I'm joined by the principal product managers, Barbara Ballard and Chris Lowell. As I was saying, I'm I'm really excited for this session. We've got so many good things going on with our, terminal emulation space now. And, we we thought best to talk to all of our extra customers and talk about kind of what we have going on and what the future looks like for all of you. So to start, I think I'll do a little housekeeping. I wanted to mention that we really want this to be an engaging and, informative session. And if you have questions, about what we're doing, what what's happening with your product, what we're saying, please pop them into the chat and the q and a, and I can raise them to Barbara and Chris, and we can handle them right away. Or if there is a time in the, where we're we're talking, we can raise them at the end in the q and a section. But we will get to them, to make sure you get answers. So, with that, I think I will go ahead and hand things off to Chris to get things started. Sounds good, Evan. Thank you very much. Let's look at the agenda. So we're gonna first cover, kinda how we got here, our historical background, the companies that were formed and merged and acquired and so forth, and the brands that came together, to get where we are today, what the path forward looks like. So there's been a lot of changes in the market with regards to security and all kinds of different things, mainly security. And so we're gonna look at, you know, our new products, Secure Host Access, what the path forward looks like for our extra customers. The product life cycle. So, you know, we've been adhering to, life cycle policies from various, you know, heritage companies over the past year, and we put together our own, product life cycle policies. We'll look at the the new product life life cycle policies from Rocket. And then, we'll talk a bit about, you know, how we're gonna support you through this journey to, secure host access. And, of course, we'll, as Evan said, we'll take questions. Happy to answer questions. So first, let's do a disclaimer. So the information that you're gonna see in this presentation, is accurate as we can make it. It's forward looking, so some things may change. We hope nothing changes. We hope everything we tell you stays true, but, some things could change in the future and just wanna mention that as a disclaimer, because we're we are gonna share a lot of information about our go forward plans. With that, let's look at our, ant farm ant enclosure here. So, basically, this is a look at, our corporate journey, if you will. This is how we got to where we are today and hopefully, you know, you recognize some of the company names, the brand names, that are listed here, kind of a complicated, interesting diagram that shows, you know, how we ultimately got to Rocket. I think if, you know, if you're in a large organization, you probably have a similar you know, you could create a similar diagram of merger acquisitions. It's just kind of the, par for the course, something that we all deal with, on a regular basis now. So Barbara and I started AttachMate many years ago. That's the bottom one of the bottom, tunnels there, if you will, lines, horizontal lines. And, yeah, we we started that long time ago. It was it was, those are the good old days of of of software and terminal emulation. Attachment had a, product called Extra, as you may recall, And, it was capitalized as far as the name initially, and then ended up being lowercase later. But basically, that evolved from, you know, something I probably like Extra for DOS and then Windows and then Windows 32 bit, Windows 95. And we've gone through, you know, some, bundling with different types of terminal emulation technologies. There was my extra presentation services and extra mainframe server edition, and then extra extreme. And, and then there were some merger acquisitions. So, you know, Attachment came together with WRQ in 02/2005, and and the Reflection brand became the go forward brand at that time, merged with Micro Focus and then OpenText, and then we're finally, you know, take a deep breath, sigh of relief, we're finally settled at Rocket. A lot of change over the past several years, but we're happy to be here. And, and that's how we got here. And then kind of the go forward, and we'll talk about this in a lot more detail, is gonna be the, secure host access product under Rocket Software for the, terminal emulation market. I'm gonna turn it over to Barbara now and talk about values. Alright. Well, thanks for your time today. Thanks for joining us. I know your time is very valuable. So we we really do appreciate you joining us. As Chris said, he and I have been around for a while. Chris has been here a lot longer than I am, and I joined the company when I was 10. So, you know, what's thirty years? So, but it it this looks like a commercial, and I just I just wanna tell you that's not what it is. Every company has values. But, again, Chris and I have been through a lot of mergers and acquisitions, some of them better than others. But what I wanna share with you today is that, because you are my customers. Right? You came, from the origination of Extra, which came out of AttachMate. Maybe you haven't been a customer for thirty years, maybe you have. But what's important to me is you came over from the last acquisition, which Rocket Software made, about eighteen months ago, I guess it was. We were part of OpenText then. Right before that, we were part of Micro Focus. Anyway, what I what I'm here to express to you is that you, as my customers, are in a really good place, and I mean that from a heartfelt perspective. It also actually comes, from for me as an employee. You know, we've been through a lot together, and this is a good place for you to be. And and why is that? Because these this rocket software is all companies say this, but Rocket Walks, the walk and talks the talk. They really value their customers. They value the input even if it is even if it is hard to hear at times. They value their business. They value the relationship. And I have always been a really customer focused product manager. So you and I are now in a really good place here at Rocket. So that is genuine. It is heartfelt. It is not marketing blah blah blah. It really is that you, as a terminal emulation customer, are in a good place. And even if that's hard for you to accept, you this is part of our vision going forward. That is why Rocket Software bought the products they did and the people they did because they saw a vision there that is what we're gonna tell the story of today. That's how Securys Access was born. Rocket saw a vision. There was products out there that could meet that vision. Rocket went and sought them out and their people, and now we were all one big team. And it is just really exciting to be on this road. I'm glad you're here. And and as an employee of Rocket, you and I are both in a really great place. So not an advertisement, but it really is heartfelt. I so I'm really glad you as a customer are on board with Rocket. So let's get started, and let's talk a little bit about what we're doing and why. So so before we dig into the product details, one thing I want you to know and you can go ahead and move the slides, Evan. One thing I want you to know is that this product I'm about to talk about was not was not some new marketing scheme or or some new thing that we just thought, oh, we can go make money here or anything like that. It started ten years ago. This is all about security. And about ten years ago, when I was working with the the previous companies and I've always worked in terminal emulation. But about ten years ago, a change in the market started happening, right, where there was breaches and there was, some security things happening. And customers were then not necessarily worried about all those things, but what they did have to do is figure out how to make everything stronger from a security perspective, but also meet mandates that were coming up. So that is how this product was born. It we we did a lot on this product on the previous company, and this is what a, what Rocket saw and purchased. So I just don't want you to think it's a new product. It is not a new product. It is born out of products that already existed, just has a new name. In fact, some of you may be very familiar with this product or at least the DNA. So, anyway, the state of security and compliance has changed. I'm sure that you would agree with that. If you're in the security space at all, and there's some dramatic, changes going on right now. Breaches are happening, and I and I think that that's never gonna stop. Right? Hackers figure out how to how to do things and then how to, do them better tomorrow. So, but what's happening there is we're figuring out how people are getting in and we're and we're laying the groundwork to protect your systems and data from them getting in the next time. So, really, what this is about is strong authentication and and authorization and making sure that only people that need to access data can do that. And the fact that they are really who you think they are. Right? That's the new thing out there is this fake worker syndrome. So, these are all statistics. You'll be able to get the presentation at the end. I think we have references to all of them. But here's where I want you to drill down in because that's really where we're going is that middle upper statistic. This is a year over year increase from 2023 to 2024. A 71% increase just in that year over year on the cyber incidents that involve using stolen or compromised credentials. We we've seen this coming for forever, and it's an onslaught, and it's not stopping. So what does that mean? That means we simply cannot use a simple user ID and a password alone in order to authenticate to the crown jewels that you have in your organization because that's where the mainframe sits. So so that's really what we're talking about here, and that's really why we have made a concerted effort to help you as our customers figure out how to, take the mainframe and include it in the enterprise security that you use every single day. So that's what we're here to talk about today. That's the journey that we're taking you on with Securals access. We're gonna talk about that for a little bit about what the product is, and then Chris will help you understand what's the upgrade path look for look like for you, and and and what does it look for look like for you if you don't wanna upgrade. And that's always a possibility. So alright. So let's move on a little bit. Oh, sorry, Chris. I'm turning it back over to you to kinda talk about how we package it. Thank you very much. Sounds good. So, hopefully, you've been receiving some communications, you know, about the new product, which we're calling Secure Host Access, which is a security first terminal emulation product. And it really comes in, three tiers. It's it's a single solution. So in most cases, customers are going to move to, you know, Secure Host Access, the anywhere tier here, and and I'm gonna explain what they are in just a sec. But, basically, you've got a desktop terminal emulator. That's the pro level, and that desktop terminal emulator has basic security features. You probably already using TLS 1.2, TLS 1.3 maybe, you know, data redaction on host screens. Those are kind of some of the basic security features that allow you to, you know, adhere to, regulatory mandates like PCI DSS and HIPAA and so forth. That's the first tier. So that's pro, secure host access pro. Then the second tier is secure host access enterprise, and that includes the desktop terminal emulator, emulation, and the central, management aspect. So you get a a central management server and that once you have the central management server and you're managing your thick clients, your desktop, native Windows terminal emulators, then you can enable functionality like, MFA, multi factor authentication, single sign on, through integration of, of our server through the identity and access management solution that you use. And so at this point, in enterprise, you're you're basically able to essentially manage your thick clients and enable MFA and SSO to your host systems. So pretty powerful. And then at the third tier is anywhere, and that includes everything I just mentioned. Includes the desktop terminal emulation, the central management piece, and then we add to that the web based terminal emulation, often referred to as thin client, a single management console. So you get a single management console from which you can, manage your terminal emulate, your full terminal emulation estate, which is gonna be, you know, thick client desktop terminal emulation as well as as the web based. So very powerful solution. You're gonna have users in your environment that are, you know, casual users. Maybe they're gonna use the web based interface. They're very easy to, for them to point their browser to a server and and get access to a a green screen, a host system, and then also managing, you know, thick clients. And you're gonna have power users that need need access to, a desktop based terminal emulator because that's what what they've been using with extra for years and years. A lot of powerful features, in the desktop terminal emulation portion of that solution. So those are the three tiers of the secure host access solution, and that's the path we're going to be, you know, moving, in in the direction of for all of our, desktop terminal emulation products going forward. Now back over to Barbara. Alright. Well, thanks, Chris. So, okay. So let's we're gonna dig in and just see what the product in itself looks like. Again, kinda try to keep those three tiers in your in your head. I I'm trying to speak to you as my extra customer. So, so we're for me, I'm really talking about the, the thick client plus that integration layer with IAM because that's where the goodness of security but we can always add in that thin emulator like Chris said. So, I could talk about this stuff all day long, and I would never get done. Right? But what we're gonna hone in here is the specific security, things that we had in this product that we believe you will find value in, and that's, you know and then if if you want more information about this, and there's a ton, then we can set up a meeting and talk one on one. But, really, what I'm talking about today is twofold. I'm talking about, on the left hand column, the ability to give you, as an organization with a mainframe or host platform, the ability to add layers of defense in-depth prior to the connection being made to the mainframe. I'm gonna give you a little market texture diagram, and I'm gonna kinda show you how that works. But but that's really what I'm doing here. As an extra customer, you you cannot weave in the I AM today. So when you launch extra, you're gonna go to a rack f screen or a top secret screen or an ACF two screen, but you're what you're not gonna do is be challenged for your enterprise credentials. That's the value that we're bringing you, is that with a thick client, then you will be able to make sure that the end users are who they say they are, and they're not a fake worker, and that they have authorized access to the mainframe, all using tools you already use today. So that's really important. On the right hand column, same kind of thing, but a different view of it, if you will. Today, mainframe sorry. Mandates are coming out. I kinda call it a tsunami of mandates. Right? There are so many. I I actually had to do a presentation in in Latin America the other day. So I thought, oh, well, I'll just go update my size. Holy mother mercy. I I just did a quick search, and there was 10 more that I didn't even know about. It just they're just coming and coming and coming. So we talk about a couple of important ones here. Dora is out of the EU. It now requires multifactor authentication. It's a fairly new one. It's about resiliency, but it does in fact require a multifactor authentication for administrators. The one I'm hearing the most about is a New York state regulation. Anybody doing business with New York state financial services has to do that through multifactor authentication. I have probably had 20 different conversations with customers that are mandated and are trying to figure that out. So this solution will help you do that. And then US Federal has been moving for years. Right? They they started back in 2013 with The US sorry, with the, HSPD 12 that simply said no more usernames and passwords. We grow. We keep going. Right? It's iterations and iterations, and now we are at a place where it says multifactor. Not just no usernames and passwords, but multifactor. And I think it's most likely that HIPAA, by the way, will probably get there by the end of the year. We do have state regulations. I'm amazed at how many of them, other than the state of New York. California's got one. There's quite a few. So, anyway, these mandates are coming down, and you have to keep track of them because you, as a terminal emulation customer, may well need to adhere to those regulations because your mainframe is the crown jewel of your environment. These mandates don't care where the data is. They care that you protect the data wherever it is. And if it is on the mainframe, friends, then you are indeed having to protect that mainframe with multifactor authentication. Alright. Now let's roll in and let's take a look at the product. This is a market texture diagram. And I say that because, you know, this is not a technical audience and I am not necessarily an in the weeds technical person. So, so so we're kinda talking at this by a high level. And I'm trying to come from your seat at the table, which is the extra seat. So we have terminal emulation over here on the left hand side, as Chris said. And we're gonna talk about specifically how do you get from extra to maybe the thick client here that is installed. But it comes with a thick client. Also comes with a web based client that is zero footprint, runs in any modern browser. So the terminal emulation, as you're used to it, is on the left hand side. What is new for you is the mid tier server. That server is the secret sauce to all of this. That server is what has the ability to integrate into your IAM. So the customers I'm talking to today are looking at integration with, PingFederate, Okta, sorry, enter ID, and now other names that you will be familiar with because they use so these are all done via a specification that says how to do these things, and those things look like SAML, OIDC, those kind of things. So we are specification based, and that's important because that really leads us into being able to support any IAM you have in your house. I'm open to the fact that there may be one we don't, but I've not heard of it yet. So, so now let's think about that path. So the user launches their terminal emulator, whether it be thick or thin. And today, they land at a mainframe login screen, and many of you still use a username and a password. That password is likely eight characters in case insensitive, and that's just not strong enough. So that's that's where this solution comes in. That's where we are here to help. So what Securus Access does is you launch that terminal emulation session, and we're gonna check with your enterprise IAM and make sure you are who you say you are. How do we do that? Well, we check to make sure that you have either already authenticated or that you authenticate before we let you through. It's as simple as that. When I say already authenticated, I'm talking about single sign on in the enterprise. So today, for me, Rocket, I log in through Okta first thing in the morning. And for the next hour, if I wanna go to another application, I carry around a little single sign on token with me, and I don't have to authenticate again. That'll run out at some point in time, and then they're gonna ask me to authenticate again. There are certainly rules in every enterprise. The more the more, authorization you have, you may not be able to use single sign on. But we adapt whatever your IAM does. So if your IAM supports single sign on, then we will we will leverage that single sign on. So that's the front end. Right? So just with that, we've added a layer of defense for you because we've integrated with your IAM. Now if we did nothing else, you're gonna land at that mainframe login screen, and you're still gonna supply that username and a password. We think we can strengthen it there too. So we have another piece of secret sauce, if you will, the automated sign on. So what that does is that has, it is dependent on a secure relationship with a component that sits on your mainframe. I'm talking about z o s today, but we can do this with any mainframe out there. So Unisys, I series, a v t host, what have you. But for the z, specifically, we're, two components. The leading one would be zMFA, sold by IBM, of course. And so with that secure relationship, what we can do is zMFA and our server have a conversation and say, oh, that guy already authenticated on the front end with multi factor authentication. And we now know what his enterprise credentials are and his rack f credentials are, for example, could be ACF two timesaver. And we're gonna allow him to sign in, but we're gonna make it more secure. So we're gonna allow him to automatically sign in. We're gonna pass through a one time time limited token. So now let's take step back and let's look at the whole picture, because this is where security and usability come to the intersection. I launched so today, I'm gonna go back. What you do today is you launch extra and you go you connect to the mainframe and then you log in to the mainframe. With secure host access, we could change that whole game. You log in with your thick client emulator that Chris will go overhead, upgrade to that really quickly. With that login, we're gonna check your enterprise credentials. We may allow you to single sign on on because you already have credentials that have been accepted. Then you're gonna get to your rack app screen. And instead, if you have this fully configured and instead of depending on that password, instead, we're going to get a different one time time limited token for you to sign into the mainframe. So we now end to end have not asked for your user credentials anywhere, but we have signed you in in your enterprise and onto the host with two different tokens that are time limited and only one use. So that is way more secure than the environment that you're working in today. That's really the secret sauce. There's a lot more to it. I could talk all day, but Evan won't let me. So, so that's kind of the solution. So, so I think we're gonna turn it over to Chris, and he's gonna kinda talk about how to get from extra to Securus access. Thank you, Barbara. Yes. Indeed. So Reflection Desktop has been the upgrade path for Extra for fifteen plus years. So there's a lot of benefits, in in being a Reflection Desktop and and or an Extra customer, and I think a lot of our Extra customers have, you know, used, both products in the past. So, you know, kinda with that as the background, Reflection Desktop provides the DNA for the Secure Host Access desktop component. Right? So, Reflection Desktop, current version 18 o, you could view the Secure Host Access desktop client as Reflection Desktop 19 o. It's that similar. It's that code base. And as I mentioned, Reflection Desktop has supported extra upgrades for years. So moving from extra to Secure Host Access is a relatively seamless or should be a relatively seamless upgrade because the desktop client for Secure Host Access can run all of your end user configurations, all your custom configurations, your sessions, your macros, your toolbars, menus, quick pads, hotspots. There's a, you know, many other sorts of, configuration files and settings that you've used in the past with Extran Reflection Desktop and the those come forward with Secure Host Access and are supported with Secure Host Access. So making that upgrade experience, much more seamless. So as part of the upgrade experience, if you have a machine or a device with extra installed and you run the Secure Host Access desktop client installer. It'll recognize Extra as the prior version. It'll uninstall it. It'll install the Secure Host Access desktop client. It'll use all of Extra's configuration files as is. It can open an extra session file and connect to a mainframe, can run an extra macro. So if you look at my, screenshot I included here on this slide, this is a screenshot of the Secure Host Access, desktop client running, and you can see that is it is able to run the extra basic macros that you've created in the past and and used in the past. So very powerful feature. You don't have to do any conversions. Right? This is not a conversion utility. This is you open the extra basic macro, you run it as is, and it runs against your mainframe, application just like, you were if you were running extra, just as though you're running extra. So very, very powerful feature. Some notable differences. And, again, many of you many of you extra customers have seen this because you've been also using Reflection Desktop in some other parts of your organization or some of you some of your users are using Reflection Desktop. Some of the differences are Reflection Desktop defaults to a ribbon interface. So it's the more modern, you know, Windows Microsoft Office ribbon interface. The nice thing about the Secure Host Access desktop client is it also supports a bunch of other UI modes. So you can run-in classic mode, which means toolbars and menus just like you did with Extra, and you can create, you know, skins or, you know, user interfaces that are that are very similar, to what you your users experienced with extra. So fairly easy transition, you know, from extra to the secure host access desk desktop client. And then a couple of other notable differences, I mentioned the ribbon, you know, there's the company name. Obviously, that's changed to Rocket. Product name has changed to Secure Host Access, and then the colors you're gonna see a a bit more purple than you did in the past. So we hope you like purple. But we do off all also have the option to change colors and configure those within your your, Secure Host Access desktop client sessions too. Alright. So with that, let's talk about some of the additional benefits, that the Secure Host Access desktop client gives you. And, again, if you've been running Reflection Desktop for some time, then you these will be consistent with what we've been telling you about Reflection Desktop. For the extra customer, you're gonna see some, some major improvements here. So TLS 1.3, external Reflection Desktop both had that. Latest SSH, they both had that. Data redaction, that is a, unique capability to the, you know, to reflection desktop at the time and now Securo's access. It allows you to redact data on green screens, mainframes, AS four hundreds, you know, IDMI, whatever it's called now. You can actually it makes it much easier for organizations that have to adhere to regulatory mandates that say, like, PCI DSS payment card in this three data security standard that says, you know, you've gotta you've gotta protect credit card data and where does credit card data show up on? You know, host screens. Right? Green screens. So that's gonna be a new capability that extra you you haven't had before with extra, privacy filters is part of that. You can, extend that capability to not just protecting credit card data, but all kinds of data sensitive data, telephone numbers, social security numbers, national IDs, and so forth. You know, we've addressed bunch of security vulnerabilities by upgrading, the encryption capabilities, and and other sorts of, security vulnerabilities potentially within the product that get reported by customers. You're getting a regular cadence of security updates. So with Secure Host Access, we're on a quarterly release cadence. So if, there are security vulnerabilities found in the wild, those are addressed in a a quick manner, and you can choose to deploy that latest version or not. We don't, you know, require customers or organizations in order for it to you know, your a major version to work to always pick up the quarterly update. But, if you need it, it's there. There's a lot of productivity capabilities within the SHA, the Secure Host Access desktop client that you didn't have before with Extra. There's Office compatibility and integration. I mentioned the Ribbon interface. There's also integration with PowerPoint, Excel, and and Word. You can exchange data between host systems and those applications very easily. There's screen history, which I think is also available in Extra, but if you don't use it, very powerful. It allows you to go see where you've been on your host screen, and you can also, archive that information, for auditing purposes. So very pow powerful feature. Every, you know, automation capability that your development community might need, whether they're, classically trained developers or, you know, business oriented users that don't really have a lot of, development experience. We've got some, you know, kind of something for everybody in the in the SecureOS to access desktop client. There's visual basic for applications, which everybody that works in IT, you know, has had to use in the past for some automations. There's a dot net API for, you know, c sharp developers, classically trained developers, Halopi, kind of a traditional programming interface for most of the automation done against mainframes and AS four hundreds, all the macro compatibility. There's, express macro language for business users, and that provides a very easy to use interface, kinda drag and drop, development environment. You can record macros and then use the drag and drop development environment to, you know, to set up automation. It's very easy to use, not much to learn with regards to programming in order to, get value out of the express macro language feature. We've got a robust go forward product road map, which we're happy to share with you at any time. We're really focused on security. There's some major security things, features and capabilities that we're adding to the product over the next, you know, few releases here. So that's that's all very exciting, and and, you know, lives up to the security first terminal emulator that Secure Host Access is. And then, you know, if you're on the Secure Host Access desktop client, it's much easier to upgrade to, the other tiers, the other Secure Host Access tiers, whether it's, enterprise for managing your, thick client, host access estate or whether it's anywhere where you're gonna add the, web based, you know, terminal emulators as well as part of, as part of the full Secure Host access solution. So a lot of benefits to extra customers in moving to Secure Host Access. Speaking of benefits. Right? So this is our guidance to you, right, is to take a look at this product sooner than later. And the reason why I say that is because we really do believe there's value in there for you. Just looking at it, doing an evaluation does not mean that you have to upgrade. So I think that's really important, but but we do want you to take a look at it so that you understand the benefits that are coming. To do that, you, contact your account executive. Right? If you don't know who that is, we can get it for you, so don't worry about that. And then after you've looked at it, you know, our suggestion is that you make a plan to upgrade sooner than later. We're here to help you. There's an email address on the screen. You need to write that down because that's the way to get a hold of Chris and I. We are in back of that email. There's another 10 people behind there too. But it's generally speaking, Chris and I, that we respond to everything, including if you don't know who your account rep is, we can figure that out for you, and we can get them involved. So that's not a problem. And just getting your account rep involved does not mean that you're negotiating a contract or anything. So, again, I I I'm gonna go back to my little rocket pitch. Right? We're here for our customers. We wanna have this conversation. We're asking you to take a look at this because we believe that there is value here for you. We're gonna go over some some other stuff related to extra here in the next slide. You don't have to move if you don't find value in this. So so this is not us telling you you have to you know, this is more about we're providing some real value here. We think you'll see it if you look take a look at the product, and we think you're gonna wanna join us on this journey. So that's what we mean by please let us know how we can assist. Right? So Chris and I are behind that email, so please don't hesitate to reach out, and and let us know how we can help. Alright. So let's talk about product life cycle, the evolution of it. And, Barbara, I think you have the first one here. Oh, shoot. I was thinking Chris would do that. So sorry. Yeah. Alright. Yeah. At least you guys noticed this is not a scripted thing. Right? Yeah. So product life cycle. So you should have received an email, which is, I think, why you are paying a lot of attention and actually came to the webinar. But we sent out an email from Rocket to you, in in or around early July telling you that extra, in particular, but it really relates to any heritage emulator, coming from, both the, you know, the the acquisition of OpenText as well as the the rocket emulators. They're all going to go into maturity. Each has a little bit of a different date, so we're talking specifically about extra here, and the date of maturity is July 2 year. Now before you get upset about that, because I get it. Right? That just sounds like you're walking away from the product, and my only resort is to go do Securus access. Not true at all. What it means is that we're not going to innovate against extra in the long term. What it means is that we're not forcing you to move to secure host access. And if you're interested, we're also gonna give you a migration path at that works for you, the time frame that works for you. Maturity does not mean end of life. So some examples of what I mean there is if is if after July 2, you have, for some reason, a fix that you need that hasn't been in the product, something suddenly doesn't work for you, we will fix it. If it is a, you know, if it is a, severity of your organization. If there is a security vulnerability, we'll fix it. So we're not walking away from the product. We're just all we're doing here is challenging challenging sorry. Channeling our development efforts on secure host access. We have 17 emulators in the company, and we wanna make sure that we're really centered our innovation on that one branch, which is really secure host access. So does not mean we're walking away from you and our customers at all. We if you do not find value in secure host access, then you can stay on extra, and we will continue to support you for the foreseeable future. We will expect you to stay at a current release in order to do that. So, and we will probably, you know, I don't know. I'm thinking maybe an annual release, something along those lines to make sure that we're addressing security vulnerabilities. So, but we do expect you to be on current version if you if you wanna stay on extra. Alright, Chris. Now I think I'm turning it back over to you. Yes. You are. Thank you, Barbara. So, yeah, let's talk a little bit about the actual product life cycle, the product life cycle policies that, and and I I put this bullet in here as as published. For a while, they're just said we're gonna publish soon, publish soon, publish soon. But we actually published our, new rocket product life cycle policies for our connectivity products, just this week. So that's recent. I don't I didn't put the URL here, but, it is publicly available and, available from a couple of different locations, which I mentioned here. So, you know, the the product life cycle policies are new and improved. We took, you know, the best from kinda legacy policies that we have experienced within the past from foreign companies and so forth. And then, you know, added them to kind of Rocket Software perspective. And we came up, I think, with a pretty good, set of policies that are, again, now published. They're easy to understand. They're available, you know, from the, hopefully, you've gotten emails and and we're making this information available, you know, to you, communicating on a regular basis and so forth. But if you wanna kinda go do the self help route, you you can go to the forum or the docs portal, docs.rocketsoftware.com, and you should be able to find, the, connectivity terminal emulation product life cycle and corresponding policies. Some of the policies were previously not consistent, some were public, some weren't, from the rocket perspective. And and now we've got a consistent set across all the different terminal emulators. If you think back to the the, diagram, the hamster tunnel, the ant farm tunnel diagram that I, mentioned previously and Barbara also mentioned 17 terminal emulators, out of all those organizations and so forth, we've brought together under our umbrella, you know, 17 to 20 different emulators and, again, focusing on Secure Host access, but trying to bring everything with the in the same set of policies. So, you know, whether you're using extra reflection desktop or Secure Host access, you're you're getting, you know, support in the same way you're getting a life cycle that's consistent for all of those products. And then just to highlight, you know, some like, few key points from a product life cycle is that basically from general availability, and this is the diagram on the screen, the arrow and so forth, the boxes, is that, a product can be in general avail general availability support for years one through three, which is, you know, full support, customer support, phone support, dev support, and so forth. And then in years four and five, this goes into limited support and then beyond that, it goes into, phase we're calling restricted support at six years plus and different levels of support. And, again, that's all documented on the product life cycle page on the Rocket website, which is available now. So, go check it out. If you have any questions, feel free to hit us up on the, URL or the email address that, Barbara referenced earlier. And then let's move on to, talk about a little bit about our commitment to you. And, first bullet couple of bullets here. So extra continues to be supported. I think Barbara made that clear. You know, we would love it if you move to Secure Host Access, but we're gonna support you in that journey for as long as we need to. You can move at your own pace. We're gonna support you through this modern you know, it's really our modernization journey. It's it's yours as well, but we wanna be there with you to support you and make sure that we're, we're there to answer any questions and make it as, seamless a move as we can. And, it, I hope it's kinda made clear here that Securys access is gonna provide a real innovative road map. There's so much coming. Chris and I can hardly keep track, which is just wonderful. Right? And should you get on Securys access, obviously, that is yours, as part of maintenance, the the road map for Securals access would be. The product life cycles, as Chris said, you know, they're fairly new. They're out there. We think we did a relatively good job on them, but, you know, you just never know. Maybe there's some things in fact, I got an email this morning that I might not have gotten all the versions correct on one of those 17 emulators. So they they could, use some tweaks. So if you see that, don't hesitate to contact us as well. And then just as you're on this journey, right, there's work to do. There's you will have concerns as a customer, and that's what we're here for. So we wanna hear what you like and what you don't like, and that's what we're here to to help you with. So, again, we're putting that, email at the bottom of the screen so that you know how to get a hold of us. We we, elicit your feedback. Right? We want you to be able to reach out to us. Chris and I are on meetings probably four or five times a week anymore with customers looking at what's it gonna take to get there and and how does that work for you and your organization, and what's the real benefit. So, we think there really is benefit there, and we think most of you will wanna come on the journey with us. But, again, as we've said, if that if you don't find value and you wanna stay on extra, then we're okay with that too, and we'll continue to support you. So I think with that, we're gonna open it up for questions. I'll say, Evan, the one question that I always get is, you know, with customers that have old versions out there running extra 9.o, 9.three. And, a lot of times, folks wanna know, well, have you done a, you know, latest release or what is the latest release? The latest release is nine dot seven. So if you were to if you're an extra customer and you log in to the Rocket customer community download portal portal, we call it RCC, and you're entitled to extra, you'll see, the latest version as as extra nine seven, and that's the current version. So I just wanna make sure folks know that. And you should also see that on the new product life cycle. That should be listed as the current version because that's what we're going to build on from here out. So so that'll be important too. You will see that, you have to be on that version in order to get, fixes going forward. So, and you can find that probably the easiest, at the at the docs customer support page under our cc as well. I think it's all on the same thing anyway. It it should be pretty easily linked. We tagged all of the emulators, so you should see that when you log in. But if you have a problem finding it, don't hesitate. Use the email on your screen, and we'll point you to that as well. Yeah. Thank you. I think the other thing that's interesting, that comes up often the question comes up often is, you know, how how hard of the upgrade is it? And we went through, you know, the fact that it's a fairly seamless upgrade. And just to be clear, you know, extra customers have had the opportunity, I think, since probably 02/2008, Barbara, when we first released, Reflection, you know, 2000 x, you know, and and, that supported initially, that supported extra configurations in you know, basic configurations, running extra basic configurations and, sessions and macros and so forth. And then we've spent fifteen to, you know, fifteen plus years really talking to customers, having them move from extra to reflection desktop, you know, running into issues, fixing them. And in fifteen plus years of that, you can bet that the the support for extra configurations in Reflection Desktop and then ultimately secure host access is very, very strong. So that's why we're gonna add it pretty seamless. Yeah. I'm I'm gonna add to that, Chris. Because just like kind of we've stated here, right, that we're not forcing you to upgrade. And we have offered you as an extra customer reflection desktop in the past. And you might not have taken that opportunity, but you didn't have a compelling event. We get that change is hard. So there's no there's no making light of that at all. We totally get nobody wants to move their organization from one terminal emulator to another. There has to be a compelling event. And we just believe right now the market is presenting you with a compelling event. Most people that are using a terminal emulator today are doing so because the crown jewel of their enterprise is that mainframe, and the mainframe has to be protected. We talked a lot about that in the early on of this presentation, but we believe that is the compelling event. And but with that said, we don't expect that that journey is easy for you to think about or understand when you think about having to replace that terminal emulator. So we're in this for the long haul. We wanna make that experience good for you. We wanna make that as easy as possible on your end users because we know change is difficult. But this time, we think you're gonna see the value, and you're gonna want to come on the journey with us rather than us just telling you to go move your emulator because because we have another one.
