This extension will replace Acu Benge in the future when we will have completed it with all Acu Benge features. It will be available on Linux in the near future. Now Vistabo will demo this extension. Vistabo. Hello, everyone. I am Gustavo Foyana, and I'm going to do some demos for you today. I'm going to start with the first one, which is the Visual Studio code plug in for Rocket Cocoa Studio. As you can see, right in front of you, we have, the new plug in that we have developed for Rocket Cucumber City for Visual Studio Code. Once you install this plug in, you will get all this information where we have access to the documentation, the possibility to the features, edit a a COBENCH project, create and modify your screens, build projects, debug, the prerequisites, access to the community, and all of these. As you can see, it is this plug in is oriented, as another way of working, like, with AcuVenture projects. So if I really hope some of you are, using AcuVenture at the moment. I've regularly find customers using it. So we'd want to give you a new opportunity, to keep working as you used to do it, but with a new modern ID. This is Visual Studio Code. Why we have chosen Visual Studio Code? The idea behind that is it's it's a very well known and used plug in everywhere. All new developers, know how to use it. Regularly, we find people who like it because it's lightweight. It's free. It's very easy to use. So we have decided that it is the path that we want to follow to help you and any new developer in the global world to get used to to our products and to work with our products. Once we have installed the plug in, we get this little icon on the left. If we open a folder that contains an AcuVent project, this is the first and most important thing. You can as well. You have the choice of create a new AcuVenture project, and then it will create all the structure that is needed for that. If you have worked with AcuVenture in the past, you are used to what you see on the screen. We have the structural view. We have the file view. On the structural view, we have the project with all the programs that we have. And if I choose any one of the programs, we can see the screen, the event paragraph, the working straight section. So typical Acuvench style of screen or looking. If we click on the screen, what do you what do we have? We have, what you see is what you get. The standard one, as if we were on AcuVenture. On the right, we have the component section with all the different components that we can use. If we choose any element on the screen, we can see that we have the properties like we would in AcuVenture. Now to show you that this is just that's recovering the information that it has, but it it allows you to work with it. I'm going to do one of the standard demos that we do all the time. I'm going to pick up another button. Now to make sure it works, I'm going to give him an exception value, and I'm going to change the title. So I'm saying demo because I'm doing a demo. And in here, I'm going to link it to a paragraph. So it has opened the parent paragraph section, and we can edit and add the code. As you can see already, there is syntax colorization. So that's one of the helps that you get with the plug in. It's one of the standard things that comes with our plug in. Now some of the things that you can do if I choose display message box, you see, it is proposing some text for me. I can tap on it and say it's good. This part, I don't like it, so I'm going to put that in here. Now if I want to, I'm going to get something like this. And I have the text that I wanted. So whenever I'm going to click, it's going to show the event that is being executed. Do I save everything? I save in here, pick up the program, and I can compile with the contextual menu. As you can see, it starts the build and the compiling of the machine. Everything has gone well. So now I can't debug or execute. I'm going to debug. We are calling the runtime debugger in here. So I'm executing everything locally. Just the standard way of working, as you can see. Nothing surprising in there. I'm not going to go through the options from the debugger. I hope you know them. They are all documented. You have been using this for years. I hope, I really hope. And now I have the application up and running, and I can work with it, obviously. Click on the demo button. I have been able to add the the code, the button. It works. We are all happy. So, as you can see right now, we can edit the screens. We can edit the properties, add events, work with them. We have to have a paragraph section. We have as well the work industry section where we can access data and work receipts as we used to do in AcuVenture. This model is the same. The look and feel of, Visual Studio code, it can be changed. Here, it is, this one. You can put it in white. You can choose your own one, grab loads of them. You have the the choice in there. And right here, you can see which one is to your code in English, but if you want it in Spanish, French, or any any other language, there are there are extensions that allows you to translate it automatically. So it's very simple. I'm going to show you a few more things about Visual Studio Code that I hope are going to help you. In here, you have the typical file view, as you can see with the report, resource, screen source as we used to have it. One thing that we can do, for example, is can go to settings and here extensions. You see I have to Rocket at Google g t. So I have here a lot of compiler options that you are used to to have in Acumen. So this is the the look is different, but I hope you see the options that you are used to to work with. Okay. So you can set up, these settings. But there are quite a few features that are really interesting on this tool. Imagine I want to open a file, and I know the beginning of the name. Excuse me for that. If I type, I see in here, the folder where it is and the name of the file. So in this case, imagine I want to open, I don't know, the f d. So I click on it, and I have opened it. But now I say, okay. I know that user f f d, it is using here. This is the code which who is using it? Well, I can come in here, type well, we're going to change it's going to be s l. And in here, you have to be careful because I have the listing, but here I have all the programs that are using it. And if I click on one of the sources, it's going to open and show me, the the code. And okay. I'm looking at the create file demo. I can very well say that okay. I have a bigger screen, and on the right side, I don't have anything. So I'm going to split right. It has created a copy here, but I want to look to another file. In here, for example, I want to look at the find user file where I can come in here and open it from here as well. I mean, I could do it from anywhere. So now I have the two files. But if I want, I can do even more things such as standard Visual Studio Code that I really believe are really helpful for our customers. So I say, I want to compare the find user file with the holiday one. So select with compare compare with selected. And now in here, I have opened a window with find user where I can see all the lines that are different. In here, I see the lines that are different in the two of them. Here, I see that this line does not exist. So I'm opening only the user f file, and here, I'm opening as well the address f file. Obviously, I have pickup files that are similar. So the comparison makes sense, else you would have a lot of information everywhere. But you get a nice graphical tool in here to look at that. And all of this is just standard, Visual Studio code. On top of all of this, if you're working with Supervision, you have plugins. If you are working with Git, it's it isn't even need a plugin. It is directly on the tool configured. If you are working with another tool, maybe there is a plug in that's going to help you on that. So you get all the benefits from an standard IDE that is used by millions of people with loads of great features on top of what you are used to have in AcuVenture. So I really believe you have the best of both worlds. I really hope you enjoyed this demo. I will see you on the next one. Thanks a lot, Gustavo. Bad news at the heart of Hack2Web version 11? We have replaced the Python based Hack2Web gateway and a lot of third party software by your Spring Boot Java framework based gateway in one package. We have modernized the administration setup and add some statistics about the gateway. Imagine the possibilities. Your application can now be accessed seamlessly across various platform, enhancing user experience and driving greater engagements. Whether your user are on the go with mobile device working remotely via web browser or leverage scalability of this multi cloud environment, Accu2Web makes it all possible. As I said previously, we have replaced the Python based Accu2Web gateway and a lot of third party software by a Sprint boot Java framework based gateway in one unique package. It will improve the cross platform compatibility because the move to Java allows our product tenure, product to work consistency of values, operating system and architecture, which can greatly expand your potential user base and customer reach. Java provides an excellent support for both 32 bit and 64 bit. Java is known for its performance optimization and scalability. Java has a robust ecosystem of library framework and tools making it easier to integrate the product with other systems, service, and technology. Java is a well established and widely used programming language, which means that it's likely to be supported for many years to come. It can provide stability and longevity to your product and Java's security features and strong typing help improve the security and reliability of your product, which is crucial for long term success. In version 11, we have simplified and modernized the connection setup and the CSS team generator. Now with the new Java framework, you can dynamically change the CSS you want to use for your application without having to stop and restart the gateway. You have now a a gateway that live statistics such as CPU usage, memory usage, number of unique clients, the number of active clients, the number of connections, the number of active connection, etcetera etcetera. Gustavo is going to demo this now. Gustavo? Hello, everyone. Now I'm going to do a demo of Accu two web and the new facelift. I imagine that you already know what Accu two web is. In older versions, the front end of the connection setup for Accu two web, it was written in Python. Now we have written everything in Java. We have make it more sleek with more functionalities, and it's more robust. So all of those are great news. The first thing that you can see we have verified is the connection step screen. We have make it look a lot better. We have a few functionalities that we didn't have before. Recent aliases. This is the famous file that allow me to set up all the all the demos that I want. Now all of these functionalities, more or less, we have them before, but we have been adding things. For example, the possibility now to test the gateway. So the websocket connection that before it was just test at the beginning when when when it was starting, and we could not modify the info. All the options that we have missed before just to make it cleaner and more nicer to look at. There are two a few more things that we have added. The SIM generator, you remember we had it before, but now it's even better. You we can in this case, I have open, just to be clear. We have SIMS, and I have decided to edit one of the SIMS that you have that is SIM number 12. So I have opened the SIM. When I click as open, it gives me the list of the SIMs that I have declared or that I have created. And this is one of the of the nice things of this new version. I can create new SIMs dynamically or I can modify them. In here, for example, I don't know. I'm going to decide that something that has meaning the push button, something that we will see easily. What would be the color for Hogan. So let's try something. Right. Now if I have done this modification, I can save it. So I save. It says it already exists. So do you want to replace the file? Yes. So now I can execute an application with that one. And to the bottom. If I'm not strong, I have already oh, when I hover, it's red. Okay. These buttons, you know why they are not like that? It's because they have CSS properties. Okay? But as you have seen, dynamically, we have modified the CSS, applied it, and we are up and running directly. So it's one of the great new features of this version. Another one of the features that we have added, and this is truly great, it's the gateway AMP for. As as you have can see, we have the uptime, CPU usage, memory, number of clients that are active connections. In our case, you can see it. I'm the only person active. These are all the demos that I'm executing. So for tabs in there at the moment, no lost connections, no active web desktop. The last time there was some activity, So it's, actually very, very nice information. If I go and I close one of the windows, in a few minutes and a little bit of time because you remember there are properties that allow you, to that keep the run time up for a certain period of time. So it doesn't, disappear directly. But you see, hope, it has disappeared. I have three active. I had four in total. It has not been lost. It has been closed. So it's giving me some information about what's happening, when it's happening, how it's happening. I want to remind you as well that with all these new functions that we are adding to the to the face lift of AccuTube Web, there are few functionalities that you can use, like, for example, the resizing. As you have seen, this is, if you have already seen this application in the past let me look for it. We have maybe not that one. Maybe not that one. Let's try with this one. Okay. So oh, it's not the right demo. It is the new demo. Anyway, this application has been resized to fill the the screen, and I can show you another way, maybe a nicer way to show you this functionality. Sorry about that. If I move and I make it bigger and smaller, I get the application that resizes accordingly to the screen. And this was already part in October. So it's one of the functionalities that you already have most likely, because many of our customers are there. You see that all elements in the screen are resizing correctly. I'm going to finish the demo for the Acute Web facelift. Thanks a lot, Gustavo. In version 11, we are addressing customer problems and provide application user interface updates among other enhancements. With all these enhancements, you can create more responsive application that adapt to different screen even without AQ2eva. More visually appealing and user friendly interfaces. The numerous customer driving updates collectively enable developers to create more competitive and feature rich application. Overall, these changes streamline the development process, improve application quality, and enhance user satisfaction. We have tried to introduce some exciting update that will significantly enhance your active global development experience. First, let's talk about the new scaling layout manager. LeCitur, which has been the number one request from our customer, ensure a consistent user interface across different platform. The screen now adjusts its layout dynamically when the application is resized, providing a seamless and intuitive interface for users. We have made major improvement to Ecobel's geographical controller. These enhancements includes the addition of checkbox and radio button in control, text wrapping, smooth scrolling, and much more. These updates will allow you to create more dynamic and visually appealing user interface, greatly enhancing the overall user experience. And that's not all. We have promoted many more investment based on customer feedback. This update collectively enable you to build better IQ global application and remain competitive in the market. Here are some example of user interface modernization made by your customer with IQ2Web. Now Gustavo is going to demo some graphical enhancement capability of extend 11. Gustavo. Hello, everyone. Now I'm going to do a demo with a new of the graphical features that we have in version 11. It's very difficult from time to time to choose what we are going to show for the different demos. And here, I'm going to show particularly two features, but there are quite a few of them. The first one is going to be the layout manager, the new scale layout manager. This feature is going to be fairly simple. You will have to bear with me because I have to show some code so it makes a little bit of sense, and it will be the same with the following feature. So we are a little bit less into showing something spectacular, but more into showing you how it works. In here, in particular, what is of interest to me is this, this line. What we are doing is we are are saying to the screen that we want to be able to scale as a layout manager. This is one feature that has been requested for a long time. We are going to keep looking into it, maybe modifying, adding a few features. This is just the first step in the journey, but it's a good first step. First thing that we are doing with it is, whenever we create the handle, if I look in the code, there is obviously, if I look for only the handle and not for everything else on the sentence, I can find that it is as well on the display of the standard window. So what is happening here? What we are saying is whenever you display this screen, this screen is going to be able to scale. So at the moment, the scale is done with the control and the wheel of the mouse. So if I execute the program, this program, as the title says, is the is the web browser two demo. So in here, for example, we are in the Rocket, Rocket Software page. But very often what happens is that if I resize in here, all the elements would stay in there or they would not be resized correctly. But now using the control and the wheel mouse, I can make it smaller or bigger. Hopefully, you are going to choose bigger. In our case, this is what I want. And in this case, for example, you can see that a screen that was it's a very small resolution. Now it has solution and a scale that is a lot more interesting. Now this is not yet a perfect solution, but we are we are working with it. Now the second the second element, second demo that I'm going to show you, is a very interesting one as well. It's something that has been asked for quite some time. And in here, I'm going back to my demo, Aku two web demo that you already know. I'm going to close this because that's not where I'm going to show you, even if I'm going to execute the application in debug mode to show you the demo. Now going to compile, going to debug. Okay. Why I'm going to the debugger? Because I want to show you the code that's going to be used. In here, I have a choice, and this is a pop up. Okay? So, this is a menu pop up. In there, I have two choices. I'm debugging. I want to execute the contract program. Because on this one, we have added one of the new great features. It has been asked for many years right now, and it's a very, very interesting one. What we are going to see is radio returns and checkboxes inside grid cells. And it's not just putting a bitmap in there or doing something like some people were doing it. No. It's really creating a graphical element inside the the the grid. So I have a grid with certain number of rows. And in here, I'm going to fill the data on the grid. First of all, I'm the heaters. So that's normal AcuVenture Visual Studio code is going to generate the code that you need. This is not something that you would write yourself. We are putting the different names on on the on the columns, and then we are going to read the file. And while I'm reading data from that file, we are going to put data rows of information, and we are going to modify cells. And in here, this is something very important. Cell one, column two. Okay. Column one, cell two. We are saying that the control tab is radio button. It will have only one radio button, one granted. Granted it's the label. One is the value if it's chosen or not chosen, and then enable false. In this case, enable false, which means that it cannot be clicked on. Could be could have different things. We can choose that it appeared clicked, unclicked, have several radio buttons. It all depends reality in what we are putting on this radio title. And, oh, I have gone a little bit too far. And you have you can see that in here, on column four, I'm writing, I'm writing a checkbox. In this case, check value one, the title is accepted. If I put a a cell check value to zero, then it would be not accepted. And I keep reading the file, and I keep putting radio buttons on self. But the interesting thing in here is that we have put the radio button in there. You can recover the values. We could put several radio buttons or several checkboxes inside the cell. It all depends in reality what do you want to do with it. Okay? This is this is one of the new features, one of the new great features that we have in this version. What we have added as well, well, the possibility of test wrapping. So, on a column, if if you have that I agree. If you have that, it goes over the border, you can wrap it and have it in two rows. Let me let me show you something. See, I don't even remember how to get out of there. Okay. So let's go back here. And in here okay. So let's execute the application. As you can see, I'm on an AcuVenture application that it doesn't have any screen, but it has all the elements. So it it really once you set up an AcuVenture, the plug in will come in. If you don't set it up, it won't come in. It's really, really nice on on that way. In here, you can see that I have some rows. This one, for example, the test has not been wrapped. Okay. So maybe a good thing to do, it would have been to wrap it up, put it correctly. Now the issue that we are having here, I'm going to set the grid. Choose here. Set that the cell is going to wrap. Set it up. Remove this. You see? The text is wrapped. Obviously, I'm doing this manually right now. You can do it programmatically. It all depends in reality what you want, but you can set up properties that will wrap the text. So you will only see one part and the rest is going to be below. It all depends on the sizes that you want to put for the for the rows that are adjusted. These are properties. Some of them has been added in version ten five. The wrap test property has been modified in version 11, so you will see it work slightly differently and is very, very nice feature. There is a smoother scrolling on the grades. Right now, we have modified the way that the scroll works, so it's smoother. And I hope that you really like this demo and these new features and that you are going to use version 11. See you. Hello. Thank you so much, Gustavo, for all the demos, and thank you for all the questions in the q and a, that we will address very, very soon. So, yeah, just to so to wrap things up, I suggest we have a really short quiz, based on the content that we just saw on the demonstration and Dominique presentation, how will it be launched. So we will have five question and thirty seconds for each question. And please use the chat to answer the question. Every answer will be numbered, so you can just send the number to the chat. And then check the AccuCobol forum to see top three winners who will get Rocket software gifts tomorrow. So we will basically export the chat and analyze who answer more quickly and who answered the first of the questions, and we will decide the top three winners of this quiz. So let's get going to the first question. The first question is, how many years has Rocket Software been in the business? So six years, fifteen years, twenty two, or thirty five years. I see all the answers in the chat. The timer is going. I mistakenly I set the timer for thirty minutes, not seconds. So let's not do that. So fifteen seconds left, and then we will get to the next question. All the answers in the chat. Everyone is active. So the right question, the right answer, I mean, is thirty five years. And this year, Rocket Software celebrated this very impressive milestone in business, and we are very excited to have Cobble AccuCobol products in our portfolio. Are you ready for the next question? What version of Rocket AccuCobol Xtend is launching this next month in July 2025? Is gonna be Xtend 2025, something similar to, Apple introducing their software, Xtend plus, Xtend 11, or new Xtend. Five more seconds, and we will discuss the right answer. I see a lot of right answers in the chat. So, yeah, extend 11 will be presented and launched next month. So stay, stay for more details. Next question. What popular code editor is supported with extend 11? So we have CodePen, Visual Studio codes, Sublime Text, or CodeChef. And it's been one of the biggest updates of extend 11 that our team is very excited for customers to try. And I've seen a lot of questions regarding this integration, so we will discuss it in couple of minutes. And I see mostly right right answers, so it's Visual Studio code. And you got you will have the chance to try it very, very soon. The next question is, which Rocket product ensures a consistent user experience across platforms? So we have IQ2App, IQ Deploy, IQ Server, or IQBench. What is the tool that we use for ensuring the Accu Global application look consistent on the web, on the mobile, and all the other devices that you may have in your portfolio? I see some people answering in the q and a. Please use chat. It will help us to count all the points. And the right quest and the right answer is AccuTube app. So this is the tool for you to have this consistent experience. And the last question for today is, what can you do with scaling layout manager? So can you manage front end themes or adjust interface with all the elements in response to window resize, test IQ global applications, or bookmark user interface elements with scaling layout manager. So twenty more seconds, and that's gonna be it for today's quiz. Five. Again, as Gustavo and both Dominica and Gustavo mentioned, it was number one most requested feature for IQCOBOL extend products. So we are really excited to present you scaling layout manager with this release. And the right answer is number two, to adjust interface with all the elements in response to window size. And I see a lot of, right, right answers in the chat. So thank you so much for listening. As I mentioned, we will have top three, top three participants, published on our AccuGlobal community tomorrow, and we will give them rocket software gifts probably next week as soon as possible. And, again, please feel free to join our AccuGlobal community to stay up to date with the latest AccuGlobal news, learn best practices, share your experiences, and get your question answered by our team anytime, any day. All of that available in one place. We will share the link with the webinar recording, and you can also scan QR code on the screen to join our AccuGoogle forum. We are very, very excited to have you there. Okay. So one more thing before we go to the q and a is that Rocket Accu global extend 11 will be launched on July 16 next month, and we will share all the details, via mail and on the forum. And, yeah, very exciting. Our team is all over, this big major release, and we are happy to have you with us, in this release cycle. And, again, after q and a, just want to remind you, there's gonna be a short post webinar survey. Please provide your feedback. I saw some feedback in the chat that we will 100% take into account moving forward. Thank you for sharing that. And, yeah, take some time to answer couple of questions regarding the webinar and IQ Couple products updates and, yeah, before leaving the webinar. So it's gonna be before you leave the Goldcast. And now, I would like to welcome Gustavo and Scott to answer the questions that we received today. And the first question that we got is is the plug in a front end to our bench or can you use as a stand alone? Sorry. It has it it cut the connection just when you were asking the question. Can you ask again, Saba, please? Yeah. Sure. So it was the question during the Visual Studio code. Mhmm. It was about whether Phone and Super. Yeah. There's some it's cutting out a little bit, Sabra, at your end there. It's not where I can relay that question. It's it was really I believe it's about whether Visual Studio Code is acting as a front end onto Acute Bench. I got an answer to that one, but I'd like to hand it over to the the technical expert there. No. Go. As you prefer. Go ahead. Okay. So, at the moment, yes, we are using still, some functionalities of Acuvench. So we need Acuvench to be active from the platform where we have Visual Studio Code. On the future, we what we want is to substitute Acuvench but Visual Studio Code. But at the moment, it is using some features of Acuvench and the compiler. But it's everything is done on the on the back. So you you will work in Visual Studio Code as you would normally, and and everything would be under the hood for you. Mhmm. That's as seamless. Thanks, Gustav. That's a seamless as we can make it today. As Gustavo said, there's some still some, dependencies on Acute Bench, but, ultimately, our goal is to give you a completely stand alone solution. And I think there's a there's a follow-up related question, Sal, that we could probably jump to is about the debugger. Because the the debugger is obviously firing up, outside of Visual Studio Code. And, so there's a question there about what the future for debugging inside of Visual Studio Code is. And, Gustavo, I know you got some news on that one. So Yes. So the answer is yes. We want to put it inside. I have already seen a a couple of screenshots and a developer showing some code around that. So I know it's on the pipeline, but at the moment, at the moment, as you have seen, we are executing the the front end one. So you can use the debugger. Everything works fine. But expect in a future release to have it, semi integrated into Visual Studio code. Thank you so much, Gustavo, for answering these questions. I think we have more question regarding Visual Studio code support. So the next question is, is it possible to map an Acu bench workspace in Visual Studio code? What I believe the question is is, because I haven't shown that. But in reality, when you open a folder, if there is an Acubench project, Visual Studio code is going to load the plug in and fire up everything that you have changed in the demo, seamlessly. You don't have to do anything. So, yes, you you can you can still use ActiveVenture if you want to, but you can use Visual Studio code and choose open your, your folder where you have the projects and everything will appear there. You will have all the screens, all the programs. You can compile the back, execute, generate code, modify the screen. So, yes, you can. Great. I know that we are close to one hour webinar, so I think we're gonna answer some more question and regarding AccuTube app. So the first question is, will it be possible to inject CSS and JavaScript code in AccuTube app like today? We can inject some code, but, The main JavaScript files are inside the char right now. So we have the possibility to use, the same routines we have now, like a TW script. That one allow us to add JavaScript code to a screen and execute it whenever we want it. So we have that, but we won't be able to modify the main dot g s file directly because it's part of the JAR file. CSS, well, yes. You have the SIMs, so you can, add a SIM to that that will work exactly as it used to work before. So if you have a SIM, you can you can add it to your application. Yes. Okay. Perfect. Thank you so much for covering that, Gustavo. One more question about IQ two web. So what changes on the cold side, needs to be done to use IQ two web? Okay. The the the short answer is none. The long answer is there are a few features, very few that's, need to be thought about because we are executing the code. The application is executing on a browser. So we have some security measures that are put on I mean, the the browser, it has, some security limitations, that we cannot bypass directly. I would say contact us and in the documentation, obviously, we have a list of all these things is, for example, if you use CIDRACOPIA and you want to copy a file into the client's machine on a browser, that's a security note by default, and a few features like this. For the rest, everything else, it will work seamlessly. And for these particular cases, we actually do have solutions. Okay. I I would say contact one of your presales, or your account managers with contact to the presales, and and we can, we can help you set it up easily. Perfect. Thank you so much for explaining that, Gustavo. And I see that Stefano understood everything, so it's great to see feedback so quickly. We have few more questions. I think we're gonna take them to the forum, archicable forum, to answer them since we are overrunning the time schedule for today. As I mentioned before, please, dedicate some time to give us feedback on the webinar. We will launch survey in in, like, couple of seconds, like, thirty seconds. Thank you so much for joining us today. It's very we are very excited to launch Rocket AquaGo Xtend 11 next month, and we will share more details on launch soon. So thank you. Thank you so much for joining us, and have a great have a great day. Hi, everyone. Thanks. Bye.
